FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – As of Friday, provincial health restrictions limiting visitors in long-term care homes were lifted for those who are fully vaccinated and screened.

In a March 10th release, the province announced that the two-visitor limit in care homes would be removed on March 18th. However, visitors are still required to show proof of vaccination and wear masks in common areas.

The release added that some care homes might be able to implement changes earlier and recommended residents check with care homes in their area.

Peace Villa was unavailable for immediate comment regarding their changes in restrictions.
