FORT ST. JOHN B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies bounced back on Tuesday night to tie up the North West Junior Hockey League Finals series win over the Grande Prairie Kings.
The Huskies opened the scoring in the game with a first period goal from Nathan Brownlee.
The brunt of the game’s scoring came in the second period after two goals from the Huskies and three from the Kings to tie up the game headed into the third period.
The Kings tried to stay in the game and scored a goal on the powerplay in the third, however, it wasn’t enough as the Huskies scored three, with the game-winner coming from Kurtis Lee.
The fifth game of the series will arrive back in Fort St. John at the North Peace Arena on Friday. Puck drops at 8 p.m.
