DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Construction planned for the Farrell Creek Bridge will result in overnight road closures beginning on Friday.

Closures on Highway 29 will occur from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. until Thursday, March 24th, while crews erect bridge girders above the highway.

Drive BC says an alternate route is available via Highway 97, and Motorists are advised to plan additional travel time.

Construction was supposed to begin Tuesday, but the work was rescheduled due to poor weather conditions, according to Flatiron Construction
