FORT ST. JOHN B.C. – The North Peace Secondary School Senior Alternate program is thanking the community for supporting their initiative to help the Fort St. John Warming Centre.
The program raised $1,450 through their bottle drive and cash donations for the centre. They also received donations like kitchen items, non-perishable food, and warm clothing.
With the money donated, they purchased supplies such as hygiene products, socks, and laundry detergent for the centre.
The alternate program wants to thank the bottling staff at FSJ Return-It for their fantastic work, helping them sort all of the bottles collected from the drive.
The students also want to thank Home Hardware for helping spread their message of the bottle drive and community members for coming together to help out the Warming Centre.
