FORT ST. JOHN B.C. – Former Fort St. John resident, Ina Forrest, has helped lead Team Canada through the first half of round-robin play in wheelchair curling at the 2022 Paralympic Games in Beijing.

The team’s record is 4-1 so far through the round-robin, having defeated China, Switzerland, Latvia, and the USA.

The curling team hopes to have a solid finish to the round-robin play and carry that momentum into the playoffs and the medal round.

The squad is still on top of the rankings despite their first loss in the game to Sweden on Monday.

Team Canada will face Korea and Slovakia on Tuesday, then Great Britain and Estonia on Wednesday, and  Norway on Thursday in the final game.

After three days of competition, Canada has 12 medals at the Games, sitting third behind China and Ukraine.
