DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Fort St. John Huskies were able to hold off the Kodiaks and are now headed to the NWJHL finals.
The Huskies travelled to Dawson Creek Friday night for game six of their series and came away with a 2-1.
Goals came from Alex Nimmo and Jared Winkel in the second period. The Kodiaks tried to tie things up in the third period after Brandon Rowley scored the team’s first goal.

The Huskies will now take on the Grande Prairie JDA Kings in the NWJHL Final.
The best of seven series between the JDA Kings and the Huskies is expected to start next week.
