FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The North Peace Forgotten Felines Society is looking for vehicle sponsors to continue their efforts in acquiring a transport vehicle.

The sponsors will add to the $5,000 donation they received from Shell to purchase a shuttle bus. The society is also looking for a logo company to help them add the decals to the vehicle.

Tricia Ouellette, president and founder of the society, says that once feral cats have been rehabilitated, they are then transported to partner rescues down south for adoption.

Ouellette says they may have found a vehicle, but won’t hear back until next week.

Once the society is able to purchase their vehicle, they’ll also help partner rescues with transporting their animals as well.

NPFFS is also taking plant orders until April 24th to raise money to assist with the costs of the transport vehicle and overall operations.

Those interested in purchasing flowers or sponsoring the society can contact Ouellette at [email protected] or reach out to the society on Facebook

The society works to rescue and rehabilitate feral cats in the Peace and takes in surrendered cats in Fort St. John, Taylor, Fort Nelson, and Hudson’s Hope.
