UPDATE #3 (3:15 p.m.): Drive BC says DGR is closed in both directions due to a vehicle incident. An alternate route is available via Hwy Hwy 2 & Rolla Rd or Hwy 49 and Rolla Rd. (Snake Pit Route). Estimated time of re-opening Thu Mar 3 at 4:30 PM MST. The next update is anticipated for 4:30 p.m.

UPDATE: According to the RCMP, early indicators show that two semi-trucks were involved in the incident, and there were injuries. However, that is all that is known at this time.Â

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Dangerous Goods Road near Dawson Creek is closed in both directions due to a vehicle incident.
DriveBC says the incident took place between 97S and Hwy 2.
A detour is available by going through Dawson Creek.
The estimated time of reopening is at 11:30 a.m.
