FORT ST. JOHN B.C.- The Peace Country River Rats are looking for an executive for their upcoming boat racing season.
In a Facebook post on February 24th, the club said they didn’t have enough people in attendance during their annual general meeting to plan future events.
The group is holding another meeting on March 3rd at 7 p.m. at the Fort St. John Rod and Gun club.
The club will vote on executive positions during the meeting and create committees for this year’s jet boat races and poker rally.
The river rats are looking for more people to come out to support this season and keep their upcoming scheduled events afloat for this summer.
“Remember, if we don’t have an executive, we don’t have a club,” said the club’s Facebook post.
