FORT ST. JOHN B.C. – The NEBC midget Trackers hosted the Peace River Royals and the GPAC Storm this past weekend.
The Trackers won 5-2 over the Royals on Saturday afternoon, with goals from Kash Pittam, Landon Alexander, MacCoy Willms, Ethan Hofstrand, and Reid Arberry.
Trackers goalie Evan Baker was solid between the pipes, stopping 15 of 17 shots directed his way.
The team continued the weekend with another win by dominating the Storm 7-0 on Sunday.
Mason Loewen and MacCoy Willms both added a pair of goals each, with Landon Alexander, Kevin Unruh, and Zack Ryan also finding the back of the net in the blowout.
Trackers goalie Evan Baker was a brick wall in the net with a shutout, stopping all 22 shots made by the Storm.
The midget Trackers have three more games until the end of the regular season.
Next up for the Trackers are the Leduc Roughnecks on Friday, March 4th, followed by MLAC Go Logo Wear on Saturday, March 5th. The final game of the weekend and the regular season is against the Sturgeon Sting on Sunday, March 6th.
The bantam NEBC Trackers played on Friday night versus the GPAC Provincial Rentals Storm.
The game ended in a 2-2 tie, which was the last game of the regular season, for the bantam Trackers.
