CHETWYND, B.C. – Police say a pickup truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle car crash near Chetwynd on Sunday.
The passenger of the truck was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the other pickup truck was not injured, but the passenger was taken to hospital with injuries that have been described as non life-threatening.
Chetwynd RCMP responded to the crash on Highway 97 near 281 Road around 3 p.m. The highway was closed several hours before reopening.
