UPDATE: Highway 97 is now open

FORT ST JOHN, B.C. – Highway 97 is closed in both directions due to a two-vehicle collision between 245 Road and Orrin Powell Road, south of Kiskatinaw Bridge.

Dawson Creek RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision at approximately 1:12 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

An assessment is in progress with delays expected.

A detour is available via 22 Braden Road and 237 Mason Road.
