FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A man was pronounced deceased at the scene of a vehicle collision early Thursday morning on the Alaska Highway near 214 Road.

The Dawson Creek RCMP were called to the scene at approximately 4:06 a.m. after a southbound vehicle left the road, rolled, ejecting the driver, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle.

The man was then pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the investigation into what factors may have contributed to the crash is ongoing.
