FORT ST. JOHN, B.C – As has been the case throughout the 2021-2022 season, the Fort St. John Huskies seem to be unstoppable.

The squad came away with three wins this weekend, with two on the road.

The Sexsmith Vipers were the first to fall this weekend after a 7-1 blowout to the Huskies on Friday.

Forward Jared Winkel continues to show up for the Huskies, tallying four points with two goals and two assists against the Vipers.

Brandon Modde, Kurtis Lee, Cayden Frenette, Cole Cowan, Alex Nimmo also added to the scoring.

Goalie Tyler McArthur received his 20th win on the season, stopping 20 of 21 shots.

The Dawson Creek Kodiaks put up more of a fight, losing to the Huskies in a 4-3 shootout Saturday.

Raymond Dick scored the game-winner in the shootout, the only player to score between both teams. The 19-year-old rookie had two on Saturday.

Kurtis Lee and Jared Winkel scored the other two.

Goaltender Jackson Powers remains undefeated, with Saturday being his seventh win this season.

The Huskies beat the North Peace Navigators 5-4 on Sunday to cap off the weekend.

Forward Kurtis Lee had two goals and an assist, with Raymond Dick, Cole Cowan, and Jared Winkel each leaving their mark on the scoreboard.

The Huskies will have two home games this weekend, taking on the Vipers Friday and the Navigators on Saturday.
