FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Performers are needed for the Child Development Centre’s 48th annual talent show.
The CDC team says they’re determined to continue with their traditions by making the event virtual once again this year as public health orders continue to restrict in-person gatherings.
Individuals or groups interested in performing at this year’s show will be scheduled to pre-record their performance on March 1st or 2nd at the centre. Performers can also opt to record and submit their own performance.
Money raised from this year’s show will be used to purchase an assessment kit for psychology outreach for the centre’s clinics. New heating and air conditioning systems will also be purchased for the centre.
Anyone looking to perform in this year’s event can sign up here. Email talent@cdcfsj.ca or call 250-785-3200 for more information.
Last year, over $61,000 was raised through the event to purchase all-terrain wheelchairs and renovate the centre’s therapy rooms. Some of the funds also went towards the centre’s mortgage.
