FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – As the city prepares for the 2022 High on Ice Festival, it requests that residents stay out of Centennial Park during event preparations, beginning on Wednesday.

Active machinery will be working around the park, as well as the North Peace Leisure Pool. Access to the pool at 100th Street will be closed as of February 2nd and will reopen on February 22nd.

The city asks that residents use the entrance located on 96th Avenue to park at the pool or park behind the Curling Club and Pomeroy Sports Centre. There will be no pedestrian access near the ice carvers as it is an active construction site.

Ice sculptures will be available to view through a drive-thru format starting at 4 pm on Friday, February 18th.
