FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. john Literacy Society is hosting a workshop this week to help with the goals and challenges of raising money-smart kids.
The ‘How to teach your kids about money’ virtual workshop is free, and participants will receive a Zoom link after filling out a registration form.
The society hopes participants come away from the workshop with information and tips to teach kids to be financially independent and responsible, understand the challenges of raising money-smart kids, and address age-appropriate money-related topics.
Anyone wanting to participate can register by emailing email@example.com, and the workshop will take place on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
This week is Family Literacy Week in Fort St. John, and the society’s theme is “Let’s Connect!”, encouraging families to connect and learn and play together.
Several activities are taking place throughout the week, including a photo contest, scavenger hunt and StoryWalk. For a list of all the activities this week, click here.
