UPDATE #2 (12 p.m.): Highway 97 at Mile 72 reopened
UPDATE (10:06 a.m.): The highway is now open to single-lane alternating traffic.
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A semi-truck turnover has left Mile 72 on Highway 97, 39 kilometres north of Fort St. John, closed until further notice.
DriveBC says an assessment is in progress and a detour is unavailable.
Emergency crews are now on scene and traffic is reportedly at a standstill moving.
There is no estimated time of reopening.
