FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Salvation Army is on the lookout for residents interested in volunteering at the Northern Centre of Hope.
Volunteers can help the organization out in a variety of ways like serving food in the kitchen, working the front desk, and helping with laundry service.
Those with maintenance skills are also needed at the centre for repair and upkeep.
Executive Director of the FSJ Salvation Army, Jared Braun says volunteer shifts can be as little as 1-2 hours a week.
The SA is also looking for volunteers to work at the Thrift Store and Food Bank.
Those interested in volunteering can call 250-785-0506 or visit the organization’s website here.
