FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on Saturday was taken to hospital with serious injuries, according to RCMP.

Police received a report of a pedestrian collision on January 15th at 1:46 p.m. on 100th Street, resulting in a road closure between 102nd Avenue and 103rd Avenue.

The RCMP North District’s Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says the status of the man who was hit is unknown at this time.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

Saunderson says the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
