Drive BC has issued a travel advisory for Highway 97 between Alaska Highway Frontage Road and Mile 80 Frontage Road for 123.6 kilometres.

The advisory has been issued due to black ice and blowing snow creating limited visibility, and travel is not recommended.

A travel advisory was also issued for the Pine Pass and parts of Highway 29 Monday morning.

The advisory is still in place for Highway 29 from Hudson’s Hope to Chetwynd and from Chetwynd to Tumbler Ridge.

The advisory is also still in place for Highway 97 from East Pine to McLeod Lake.
