FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John has paused non-essential snow clearing until further notice due to extreme temperatures.
The City says temperatures below minus 30 degrees damages their snow clearing equipment, but City “snow fighters” will continue to monitor conditions, apply winter sand, and respond to safety-sensitive issues.
Residents in need of sand can access a public sandbox at the following two locations:
