FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Northern Lights College has decided to delay the start of in-person classes until January 10th, 2022.

The College says the decision was made out of an abundance of caution and at the recommendation of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training.

Students scheduled to start practicums or online classes are not affected by delaying in-person classes.

NLC campuses will still reopen on January 4, 2022, and all regular College services will resume as scheduled.

The general new and international student orientations are now combined into one online session on January 7th.

Students are asked to check their email for more information.

Last week, the Province announced that the restart of school for students in K-12 would be delayed until January 10, 2022. Teachers and staff will return next week. The initial return date of January 3rd and 4th will remain the same for children with special needs and children of essential workers.
