FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Thanks to the help of numerous local residents and businesses, 39 kids in foster care received Christmas hampers this year.
Brandi Kennedy, along with the help of Jodi Howard, ensured the kids got a hamper with gifts and a stocking this Christmas.
In a post in the Christmas gifts for kids in care Facebook group Kennedy said, “Without our donors, this would not be happening. Thank you to all sponsors. Even if it was one gift, it helped so much. It made someone feel cared about.”
Kennedy mentioned the businesses and residents who have helped her initiative in her post.
According to Kennedy, Accent Dental sponsors five to six hampers a year.
