FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John’s recreation department is inviting seniors to get crafty in the new year.
Cassandra Mervyn, 2021 Arts & Culture Community Award winner, will host craft sessions for adults aged 55 and older.
The sessions will take place on selected Fridays between January to March.
“Spend your morning socializing and creating fun crafts with the assistance of Ms. Mervyn,” said a social media post by the recreation department.
The sessions are free, and craft supplies are included, but space is limited.
Proof of vaccination and the use of masks are required in order to participate.
Anyone looking to Get Crafty with Ms. Mervyn can register on the City’s website.
