Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the Peace region.
“Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions,” said the weather statement.
Snowfall will continue until Wednesday afternoon with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.
A snowfall warning was also issued early Tuesday morning for the Pine Pass.
The snowfall is also expected to continue until midday Wednesday, accumulating 15 to 25 cm of snow.
Anyone travelling in the area is being asked to prepare to adjust their driving to changing road conditions.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Argo Road Maintenance says crews are preparing and watching for the snowfall and will be out plowing and sanding.
