FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – RCMP has released some information on two car crashes that took place Tuesday afternoon.
RCMP says the occupant of a vehicle involved in a car crash on Highway 97 and 269 Road was taken to the hospital by BC Ambulance.
The incident was reported at 1:13 p.m., and little information is known at this time.
“I do not know the status of the person, age or extent of injuries at this time. There appears to be two vehicles involved, but I do not know what type, and I have no indication of casual factors. I am not sure when further information may become available,” said North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson.
A single-vehicle crash occurred at 1:25 p.m. on Highway 97 and Clairmont Frontage Road. No further information has been released.
Saunderson also mentioned vehicle collided with a building early Tuesday morning. A location was not revealed.
“Police suspect alcohol to be a contributing factor in this crash. There were no reports of injuries.”
An investigation is underway.
