FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Gwen Zabinsky won $5,000 through Rotary Mega Lottery’s final early bird draw last week.
Zabinsky’s winning ticket was drawn on Thursday during the Rotary Club of Fort St. John’s weekly meeting at the Northern Grand Hotel.
This year’s event has more than $50,000 in cash prizes to be won, including a $25,000 grand prize; a $10,000 second prize; a $5,000 third prize, as well as a 50/50 draw.

The four main draws will take place on January 15th, starting at noon.
Regular tickets are $25 each, and 50/50 tickets are $10 each.
Since 2002, the Rotary Mega Lottery has raised $5 million and distributed it to dozens of local organizations from Fort St. John to Dawson Creek.
The Rotary Club of Fort St. John delivered nearly $64,000 from the 2020 Mega Lottery to 22 Peace region charities and community clubs in August.
