FORT NELSON, B.C. – The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality and local chamber of commerce did a business walk in October to get feedback from owners.

The Business Walk took place on October 22nd and is a program aimed at business retention and expansion to support any existing business in a community.

The day was dedicated to learning about local business through face-to-face interviews. The program allows the chance to listen to the business community, identify any needs, and strengthen relationships with owners.

During the walk, 55 businesses were surveyed within the commercial zones, covering various business types like service providers, retail, hospitality, food services, and supply stores.
