FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Regular maintenance and pole replacement work will require power outages in Fort St. John and Dawson Creek next week, according to BC Hydro.

On November 29th at around 11 p.m., power will be down to about 139 Fort St. John customers.

BC Hydro expects power to be restored by November 30th at 7 a.m.

The following areas will be affected:

On November 30th at around 11 a.m., crews will cut power to about 35 customers for planned work on equipment:

Power will return by 2 p.m.

On December 1st, Hydro will replace a pole that will require power to be cut from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., affecting fewer than five customers:

On November 29th, crews will be replacing a pole that requires power to be cut to around 12 customers from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.:

The following day on the 30th, another pole replacement will cut power to 5 customers from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

On December 1st from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., about 85 customers will be without power while crews do planned work on BC Hydro equipment:
