FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Poor road conditions caused by freezing rain have led both School District 60 and School District 59 to cancel school buses.

In School District 59, buses are still running in Chetwynd.  Schools remain open.

Freezing rain overnight Sunday has left local roads in poor condition and both School Districts have cancelled bus service for Monday, November 22nd, 2021.

A special weather statement has been issued for the B.C. Peace and Pine Pass.  Environment Canada says a low-pressure system will move through the area Monday and bring with it wind speeds as high as 80 km/h.
