FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Stage North Theatre Society will be having a Snack and Scene event next Friday.

The event will take place at the Stage North Space on Northern Lights Drive at 7:30 p.m. and will include snacks and hot drinks, and an open mic style of playreading. Those wishing to read parts of the play are welcome or just hang out and relax.

The reading will be from the play ‘Every Christmas Story Ever Told,’ according to a release from the Society.

“Instead of performing Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to perform every Christmas story ever told — plus Christmas traditions from around the world, seasonal icons from ancient times to topical pop-culture, and every carol ever sung. A madcap romp through the holiday season!” reads a description from the playwright.

For Society members, the cost of attending the event is a ‘pay-what-you-can’ option while non-members pay $20, which will also include a Stage North membership.

Any questions can be directed to execdir@stagenorth.ca.

With current public health orders, proof of vaccination and masks will be required for those wishing to attend.
