FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Drop off your full shoebox for Operation Christmas Child at Fort St John Alliance Church next week.
The church is taking shoeboxes in during the initiative’s national collection week from November 15th to 21st.
Drop offs will be accepted from noon to 3 p.m. between November 15th to 19th and from noon to 7 p.m. between November 20th to 21st.
Local families began filling the boxes on October 13th with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and personal notes and photos for children worldwide.
Last year, Peace Region families sent over 1,400 shoeboxes from Fort St. John, Charlie Lake, Taylor, Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, and Prespatou.
