The section of Highway 97 that was closed due to a vehicle incident is now open to traffic, according to Drive BC.

There are reports of traffic being backed up in both directions on the Charlie Lake hill.

A cement truck has reportedly rolled over into a ditch, and several semi-trucks and school buses are parked on the side of the highway.

Some residents on social media say that a school bus and other vehicles were involved in the vehicle incident, but nothing has been confirmed.

Another report says four vehicles were involved, which didn’t include a school bus.

This story is developing.
