Update as of 8pm – The travel advisories issues have been rescinded.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – There are two travel advisories and one vehicle incident reported in the Peace region on Tuesday evening.

A travel advisory is in effect between Peace Canyon Access Road and the end of Highway 29, covering 80.7 kilometres. The affected area is 35 kilometres north of the Halfway Rest Area and 2 kilometres south of Hudson’s Hope. There is blowing snow, compact ice and slippery sections. The last update was at 5:38 p.m.

Another travel advisory is in effect between the Peace River Bridge and Kidd Road, covering 82.8 kilometres. The affected area is from Taylor to 20 kilometres south of Wonowon. Blowing snow, compact ice and slippery sections have been reported. The last update was at 5:34 p.m.

The single-vehicle incident near Charlie Lake has been cleared as of 5:47 p.m., and traffic is moving on Highway 97, says DriveBC.
