VANCOUVER, B.C. – The British Columbia Liberal Leadership Election Organizing Committee has announced the date of the next B.C. Liberal Leader debate.

On November 22nd at 7 p.m. Pacific time, the debate will be streamed on the party website.

“As the race to select a new leader continues, this debate is an important opportunity for B.C. Liberal members to hear directly from the candidates.” said Colin Hansen co-chair of the Party’s Leadership Election Organizing Committee.

This debate will be the second in a series to determine a new leader of the party.

The election of a new BC Liberal Party leader will take place on February 5th, 2022. The deadline for individuals to join the party, and therefore vote in the election, is December 17th, 2021.

According to the B.C. Liberals’ website, voting will take place online using a voting system that requires eligible members to verify their identity.
