FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Peace River Regional District will be hosting two virtual open houses pertaining to the proposed North Peace Fringe Official Community Plan.

The North Peace Fringe OCP draft is currently available for public review and feedback, and the virtual open houses will take place on November 4th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and November 6th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The main themes of the North Peace Fringe OCP will be the protection of rural lifestyle for current and future residents, collaboration on growth management, long range planning and Fringe Area planning, protection of agricultural land for agricultural purposes, and sustainable resource management and community development.

The PRRD will be presenting information about the OCP and answering any questions that may come up. Community members who cannot attend either Zoom event are encouraged to provide their feedback on the Have Your Say website.
