DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Dawson Creek and District Chamber of Commerce has announced that Kathleen Connolly has been appointed CEO of the Chamber effective immediately.
Connolly was previously Executive Director before the role of Chief Executive Officer.
In a statement, President Patricia Adams said, “the Board recognizes the importance of diverse and culturally safe workplaces. We are proud to have a First Nations woman leading our board and membership and continue to commit to actioning policies and procedures to promote reconciliation with our First Nations neighbours.”
Connolly has provided the board with strong leadership for the last ten years, and the board is excited to continue to grow its membership and community engagement.
In October 2020, Connolly also ran as a South Peace candidate for the Conservative Party of B.C. in the Provincial Election.
