FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of FSJ is hosting a public art competition with the FSJ Arts Council.
The competition will offer local artists the chance to leave a lasting impression on the Community Awards by designing a new award concept.
The design should represent the theme of the awards, which is that community and volunteerism are the heart of the ceremony.
The technical requirements of the new design are as follows:
In total, there are eight Community Awards that are handed out, the Youth Award, Humanitarian Award, Literacy Award, Business Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Recreation Award, Cultural Award, and Mayor’s Citizen of the Year.
Residents interested in submitting their artwork can deliver a hard copy to City Hall, either in person, by mail, or courier. Submissions will not be accepted by email.
The deadline for submission is no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, November 15th.
