FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The FSJ and District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Virtual Business Roundtable with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) on Thursday, October 28th.

During the roundtable, CAPP will be discussing the Royalty Review which affects the oil and gas industry. After 20 years in effect, the review will discuss some of the major impacts like updates for deep well drilling.

One of the presenters is Geoff Morrison, the jurisdictional manager for BC for CAPP. Morrison works with government, regulators, and stakeholders. His role is to advocate for the responsible development of oil and natural gas resources.

Kelly McTaggart will also be in attendance and is the community engagement advisor for CAPP, she’ll be discussing industry updates for various communities and organizations.
