FORT NELSON, B.C. – Northern Rockies RCMP is looking for information about several large pieces of industrial equipment that were stolen from a worksite off the Sierra Yoyo Desan Industrial Road.

A release on October 20th says the equipment was stolen from an industrial camp about 170 kilometres north of Fort Nelson on Komie Road.

Police say the thefts could have occurred over a long period of time.

β€œIt is believed that the thefts occurred over the course of this past summer,” said Sgt. Anthony Fletcher of the Northern Rockies RCMP.

Some of the stolen equipment was located at an address on Caribou Way in Fort Nelson on September 23rd.

According to police, the property that remains outstanding includes three portable camp trailers and two large generators.

RCMP continues to investigate the theft, and anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Northern Rockies RCMP at 250-774-2700, or contact Crime Stoppers to leave an anonymous tip at 1-800-222-8477.
