Kennedy Jane Pace was given 10 months of probation in a Dawson Creek court this week after pleading guilty to the charge of assault.
Pace was involved in an incident at Walmart involving an employee in Dawson Creek on Nov. 25, 2020. The employee was allegedly assaulted after asking Pace and Jordan Alex Taylor to wear a mask under provincial health orders for COVID-19.
Officers identified Taylor after reviewing surveillance footage and he was located a short time later at his residence.
The 30-year-old male suspect was arrested for assault and mischief and released to attend court at a later date.
The involved victim received minor injuries not requiring immediate medical attention.
