FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – With a little more than a month until the start of league play, the Northeast BC Predators U18 team is in Calgary for the AA Firestarter Weekend tournament.

According to club president Angela Ayre, all Predators games will be streamed on the team’s Facebook page.

The Predators will play three games in just over 24 hours, starting with a Friday game against the Edmonton Pandas at 3:15 p.m.

On Saturday, the Predators will face the Airdrie Lightning at 10:45 a.m., and later on Saturday evening, the Predators and the Calgary Fire will play at 5:30 p.m.

The newly-formed U13 Predators will get their first crack next weekend when they go to Prince George or the development weekend.

The following weekend, from October 22nd to 24th, all three Predators teams (U13, U15, U18) will head to Richmond for the female Rep Classic.

The Predators will host up to 300 female hockey players from across the province at the end of October for a Super Weekend.
