FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 60 years of serving Peace Region businesses.

During Small Business Week, the FSJDCC will be hosting their thrid annual Business Excellence Awards.

The Chamber says it knows it has been a difficult 18 months for businesses and they want to celebrate those that have stood out.

There will be ten different categories including the Not-For-Profit Award, Diversity and Inclusion Award, Indigenous Business of the Year Award, Women of Distinction Award, Young Entrepreneur Award, Community Leader Award (Business), Service Excellence Award for Restaurant, Retail, and Industrial, and the Business of the Year Award.

Nominations are currently open for those interested in nominating businesses that have gone above and beyond to serve the community.

MNP will also be offering their services for the finalists, offering a two-hour complimentary session.

The nomination deadline is October 11th, and the Awards will be virtual on October 22nd.
