FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – BC Transit has announced that they’ll be offering up free transit on Monday, September 20th, to get residents to the polls.

By offering free transit to residents, means more people will have access to voting in the Federal Election, says BC Transit.

Previously, the transportation company offered free transit last October for the Provincial Election on October 24th, 2020.

Free transit is offered on all routes and includes handyDART buses.

General voting day for the upcoming federal election will take place on Monday, September 20th, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Candidates running for Prince George – Peace River – Northern Rockies riding are  Amir Alavi (Liberal), Ryan Dyck (PPC), Phil Hewkin (Canada’s Fourth Front), David Jeffers (Maverick Party), Catharine Kendall (Green Party), Cory Grizz Longley (NDP), and incumbent Bob Zimmer (Conservative Party).
