FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Another party leader is making sure to stop by Fort St. John while touring candidate ridings.

The Maverick Party announced Wednesday interim leader, Jay Hill, will be in the Energetic City on Sunday alongside Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies candidate Dave Jeffers.

The duo will be hosting a town hall at the North Peace Cultural Centre at 7 p.m, following a stop in Dawson Creek around 1 p.m.

Another candidate running in the northeast riding, the People’s Party of Canada’s Ryan Dyck, announced Tuesday that leader Maxime Bernier is making an appearance on Friday.

Other candidates who plan on running in the northeast riding include incumbent Conservative MP Bob Zimmer, the NDP’s Cory Longley, the Green’s Catherine Kendall, the PPC’s Ryan Dyck, Canada’s Fourth Front party’s Phil Hewkin and Liberal candidate Amir Alavi.

Advanced voting takes place for four days, starting September 10th.

Election day is September 20th.
