DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Dawson Creek RCMP has reported that a member of the BC Highway Patrol in Dawson Creek stopped a vehicle travelling well over the speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour (kph).

According to a tweet from the detachment, on August 30th, an officer pulled a vehicle over for travelling 171 kph in a 100 kph zone.

The vehicle driver received a $483 fine, and the vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
