DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – A large police presence was reported in Dawson Creek early Thursday morning after an individual suffered possible gunshot wounds.
According to Sergeant Chris Manseau with the BC RCMP, shortly after midnight on Thursday, August 26th, an individual walked into the emergency room of a hospital with injuries believed to be sustained from a possible firearm.
The individual then made a report of where the injuries were sustained and by whom.

RCMP members went to the location and, because of the nature of the incident, contacted the emergency response team. After attending, RCMP located and arrested the individual in question.
