CHETWYND, B.C. – Chetwynd RCMP is requesting the public’s help locating a man wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

Devon Myles Lindstrom, was last seen on Wednesday, August 18th, around 5:30 p.m., at a local business in Chetwynd.

Frontline officers in the area were able to catch up with Lindstrom while he was driving in an industrial area; however, police stopped pursuing him as he started to drive dangerously and recklessly in traffic.

“Our priority is to ensure the safety of the community and that is why our officers chose not to engage in a high traffic time of day, so as to not to put anyone else at risk,” states Sgt. Wahnese Antonioni.

“The Chetwynd RCMP continue their efforts to locate and safely arrest Devon Lindstrom. We want the general public to be alert and if you do spot this individual, do not approach him; instead, we ask the public to call 9-1-1 or their local police immediately.”
