FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The City of Fort St. John made changes to a pair of bylaws Monday to allow them to combine land near Anne Roberts Young Elementary School with hospital property.
To accommodate the consolidation, amendments were made to the Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaws on Monday during a public hearing.
City staff had a discussion via email with a resident who had questions regarding the proposed bylaw changes. There were no other comments from the public.
With the amendments, the City wants to “create a proper lot for the water tower sufficient for future expansion and to create a remainder lot so that it can be more easily developed for commercial purposes.”
